Hello My Name Is...
Martin K. Screen
My name is Mr. Screen and I facilitate the
learning of mathematics at Eddie White K8 Academy. This is my 11th year of teacher. I’ve taught 8th
grade for several years and this is my fourth year teaching 7th
grade.
I believe that all students can learn any
subject, no matter how difficult.
Although many students dislike math, I try to use practical, relevant
material to help engage students, to grasp concepts and apply
what they have learned. I believe students are their biggest motivators and I
try to help them believe in themselves and support their accomplishments.
I offer a safe, friendly, and challenging
environment for students to thrive and don’t mind going the extra mile to help
them be successful. I have a
genuine love and concern for all of my students and want them to know they are
secure. I respect my students and simply
ask that they respect me in return.
